Stiff Clutch Pedal, Gradually Got Worse
I searched and didn't seem to find a thread with this problem. 1995 LS 5 speed
Starting a while ago, maybe a few months, occasionally the clutch would get stiff for ONE push and return (so like a shift), picking up at the very top and then feel fine again for the rest of the day. Freeplay was normal as was engagement and going into gear aside from that. Well gradually this got worse to where it would do it a few times a day. Then a few days ago it did not go back to feeling correct. The pedal is stiff and it picks up at the top. The clutch itself is an Exedy stage 1 and it has maybe 5000 or 6000 miles on it. The car is still very driveable, no slipping and it goes into gear fine.
I have ordered a new slave and master cylinder, will this likely solve my problem? I typically have owned cable cars so haven't really run into this problem before.

First I'd say check that you master cyl is full then for any leaks by the slave(may need to remove the boot if you have one over it). Then look to see if the MC is leaking by the pedal have you tried adjusting the clutch pedal ? sounds like something is leaking/on it's way out. it's nothing uncommon for the slave to go out on G3 integras.
Well replacing the slave cylinder seemed to make the pedal feel correct, but I wasn't able to get an air bubble out. Oh well, I traded it for a DA anyway so I'm not concerned.
