Ok so I recently had a b20/ ls transmission swapped into my eg. The ls transmission ended up being rebuilt by the same guy who did my swap, two years ago. He opened it up and his stamp was on the inside and he said it still looked brand new.

About a week ago at high rpms, I couldn't get into third gear. Now today at high rpms in second gear, I went to shift into third and it would not come out of gear. Then all of the sudden I heard a loud BANG and it came out of gear and the shifter was in neutral however when I proceed to let out the clutch, the motor doesnt idle, it jumps to 3500 rpms while the shifter was in neutral. I pressed the gas but it just revved up. Then I could not get into any gear then BAM another loud bang and I have gears again, and it did not do it the whole way home.

Any help would be much appreciated.
