This car has an intermittent low idle/stall, no-start condition. Sometimes stalls when stopping, sometimes won't restart when hot. When stalled, turning the ignition on does not produce the normal 2 sec. fuel pump prime. Starter cranks normally. After a waiting or a few ign. on/off cycles, I will hear the pump and it will start normally. An abnormally low idle seems to accompany the stalling. IACV is clean and seems to function properly. I'm suspecting a malfunctioning sensor failing to send a signal to the fuel pump relay. No CEL. Any clues?

 

G101 ground on thermostat housing clean and tight?

Have you resoldered the main relay?

If those are fine, your ECU may be toast.

 

Thanks, I'll check the grounds and resolder the main relay, but could either of those problems cause the low idle?
