no i'm being 100% serious it's the same part number as the GSR one(Timing Belt #14400-P72-014 - 94-01 GSR B18C1 and Type R B18C5). a timing belt weighs like 1/4 of a pound maybe half lol same deal. from what we know OP has a tock ls engine NO need to rev past what an ls can handle and as said there is no diff from 98+
It's hard to detect in text, plus you'd be surprised how damn dumb some posters here are. **** I got into a war with some douche who was certain ITR spring retainers were different and better and I proved b-series vtec all use the same part# retainer and he said just because the part # is the same doesn't mean it's the same...can't explain that lol
True. I apologize.
I sometimes forget the level of stupidness on the Interwebz and forget what may also seem sarcastic is many instances are actually serious lol.
Trolling on.

check part numbers. i'm fairly sure but not 100% there is a vtec and non vtec oil pump for obd2. the itr/gsr pump is stamped p72 which is a highly unusual number for a b18b engine to use. even things like the oil pan are different with the itr/gsr using a p72 pan which is about 2x the cost of the b18b pan
that doesn't mean it won't fit, it just means it's not the proper part

I just checked. All 98 integras use part number 15100-P72-A01 for their oil pumps. Thats ls, itr and gsr.
Gsr/itr pans cost more because theyre totally different. Ls pans wont fit gsr or itr blocks because of the girdle. P72 pans should work on ls blocks. Ill have to check but the pickups should be located at the same depth. More capacity too so thats good.
I think honda started using the same pumps because it just made sense to use one part for all engines. Especially something like the oil pump

B18a is low pressure nonvtec and can be easily modded to hogh pressure vtec. Obd2 pumps are all the same. Vtec and non vtec. Lower timing covers are different between 90-93 and 94+
So to use the obd2 pumps you need the late model lower timing cover.
