So my bro has a 89 legend v6l auto and every time he starts it it makes a weird sound from under hood when he starts to roll away...i thought it was going to be the p/s belt being loose or sonething with that but when i checked it everything was ok...any help i can get on this topic will be appreciated...oh and tge sound is like a loud whurring sound that last about 5seconds and goes away and comes back...plz help me thanx

 

Is it only when the car is moving? Can you open the hood at idle and try to listen for the noise then?
