battery light flicker high rpm b20v
I noticed that my battery light flickers ever so slightly under hard acceleration.
It starts flickering at least 5500 rpms and so on. But I can still daily without having my battery drain (no battery drain at all)
New Reman Alternator from autozone
Checked ground from alternator and is good.
Belt is tight
Harness Plug is plugged in
Battery terminal is tight
Engine: B20V B16 Head
Reman: Alternator from OBD1 b16 Delso 80amp

The voltage regulator is responsible for grounding that circuit to make the batt light come on. It's likely that the reman alternator may still function to charge the battery but have an issue within the internal regulator.

Take the car to an alt./batt. shop, [Interstate batteries] and have them do a proper load/charging system test, it is free a most places and only takes a few min. 94
This.
And just because it passed a vatozone with the 2k rpm test means nothing. It might be charging at proper voltage at low rpms but overcharging (too many volts) at high rpms.
Thanks for all the help. It ends up being the alternator it self. I guess it was defective...So I had them to order me another since they were out of stock in my town. Replace and now revs without any flickering light. :D
