Default Help plz, I have a time sensitive question!

Ok so I bought a Neptune/Demon RTP package as some of you already know. It just dawned on me that I already have a AEM wide band.

I dropped off my virgin Po6 to be socketed and the demon installed a day or two ago. Since its already been dropped off I would like to know exactly where I plug/solder the wire"s" into the ecu or the demon? I need to get this info to him ASAP, he build computers for a living but isnt into cars.

I dont have in front of me at the moment, so any pictures would be incredibly helpful!

The model number for the wide band is 30-4100 and is only a few months old new in the box.

There are two extra wires:
-White 0-5V Output
-Blue Serial Output

Also Ive read places the certain resistors are to be removed for logging with the wideband. Is this true? If so which ones?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

j12 resistor is to be removed always, located on the top of the board, when holding with the plugs on left side it will be located near the bottom left corner of the left side long white thing (injector driver).

nothing gets soldered into the demon or the ecu to use the wideband. you just splice the white 0-5v output wire into the car's d14 wire (ecu harness, will be a white wire)

Thanks for the reply! So where does the blue serial wire go? So il have him remove the J12 resistor.

the blue wire I believe is for programming the wideband, and does not connect to anything with the ecu. someone correct me if I'm wrong.

I try to do my own research, and hate being spoon fed lol. I came across this today http://www.evoxforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=21747

I believe the serial cord is for data logging AFR on a ecu that doesnt have live streaming capabilities. Like if you have a stock or plain chipped ecu, you could data log on your own computer for the tuner to see at a shop.

Pretty much not going to be used by me since I have the demon data logger.

I also let my computer guy know to remove the J-12 resistor, thanks again for that.

In Help you'll find setting up a wideband. In the input list mentioned there you'll find all of the available inputs. In the Videos section of help you'll find information on the extra analog inputs available on your Demon, should you choose to use those instead of the ECU directly.
