Default F/H ghetto tensioner

Hey guys, thought I'd share. There's a bunch of ways to replace the auto tensioner for H and F series. Here are some popular ones:

-H23 manual tensioner
-kaizenspeed
-B series modified tensioner

Well, if you want to keep things really cheap and use what you got, here's another idea. This cost me less than $4, and my belt is once again nice and snug.

1) Take your busted *** auto tensioner and gut it
2) Cut it in half, we will use the bottom half and flip it upside down
3) Grind the new backside for clearance
4) Drill and rethread the new top with a tap of your choice (I chose 1/2 inch)
5) Install a nut and bolt
6) Done.

Holy thread bump batman. Interesting idea OP. KS Tuned has created a mass produced and anodized version of this as well.

Dang it I spent about 40x more money purchasing the KS Tuned one when it's the same thing without the fancy etching and anodizing. Nice creation, definitely will help the other guys who haven't bought the KS Tuned one yet.
