I have a spark plug that blew out on #3 cylinder. When it blew I shut down the car and had it towed. I was able to install a new plug with a spark plug repair kit Helicoil. I installed a new spark plug Coil and disconnected the Battery to clear any codes that may have been triggered with the spark plug blowing out. But when everything was completed it won't start. It will turn over but seem like the is no spark. Any suggestions on what else could be wrong. Help would be great.thanks

 

Do a compression test. hope is not the worst.

 

What were you doing right before it blew up on you?

Also can you check if you are getting any sparks when you are starting the car? you might need a friend to look at it for you while you are starting the car...

 

Thank you All It seems that the fuse for the ECU Blew when it grounded out against the hood of the car when ithe spark plug blew out.
