Default 2005 Honda EX 1.7 vtec

just found out the head on my gf civic has leaked into the cooling system. Found on multiple forums that this is common around 60k but it happened at 100k so im taking it in tomorrow to get the head gasket corrected but in the event of doing it i would like to put a little money into port and polishing the head and some additional street level modifications.

Can anyone suggest a houston garage that can cnc the head?

I am no pro but other than port and polish any suggestions of basic modifications would be helpful. Not looking for any racing just some additional mpg / HP while the head is off the engine. I will be looking to replace the timing chain during this repair.

Thanks

Edit : If you can suggest a garage in houston to do the work would be awesome also

Well, a port and polish job (by itself) may yield a few horses. However, I highly doubt it'd be enough to notice. The only real power gains will come from a different cam and K-pro. Standard bolt-ons really don't net a gain worth paying for (if any at all). Also, the engine has a timing belt, not a chain.
