Check engine light on and off after full throttle?
I've got a 95 Integra with a jdm high comp b20 and everytime I go WOT 2 check engine light codes come on 7 and 9 it's an obd1 harness and obd1 ecu, I'd like to focus on code 9 first. I've replaced the ecu with a pr4 from a friend, code still does the same thing, I've also replaced the plugs and wires as well as replaced the dizzy the dizzy was from a local junk yard would this be a problem, I've tried 3 dizzies, it does it on all of them, could it be a problem internally with my engine or maybe harness? Code erases it self the second I shut the car off. For example if I go out and get on it, code comes on, pull over shut the car off then turn it right back on codes are gone until I get on it again, only at WOT, does not coke on from normal driving.
I brought it to school awhile back when the code first stated appearing, the instructor had a huge technical pad/scanning tool that put the tps activity into a line graph where you could measure the voltage as you opened and closed it and if their was a spike or sudden drop in the graph/line then that was an indication of a malfunctioning tps, is that what you mean by check for a dead spot, pretty much the tool was a massive, expensive, volt meter. And didn't show any signs of failure.
Anyone else to help me out with this, been dealing with this problem for awhile now, keeps me from beating on my car from time to time though lol. Car runs fine other than a pretty harsh idle upon start up, almost seems like the car is gonna die, but catches itself every time. Might help to point out, I've got a BLOX 68mm TB and a BLOX IM. Any input would be much appreciated.
