Default DC Sports vs. Weapon-r Headers

Alright so basically here's the deal. I'm looking to get new headers to complete my exhaust system, but I need some feedback from people who have used either DC Sports or Weapon-R headers. Or both for that matter. I've already done my research and know I'm going to be getting 4-2-1 headers because I need across the board performance instead of top end, and they are for my autocross car. I just want to know the pros and cons of DC Sport vs. Weapon-R.
EDIT: Can't eliminate a catalytic converter, a cat has to be present to pass inspection in VA

DC basically a stock JDM ITR manifold for the guys in CALI for smog reason. weapon R....a lower quality brand vs Skunk, PLM HYTECH so on. are you set one one of these or open to other makes/designs ?

I'm open open to other decisions, but as far as price goes I'm limited. I'm in Virginia so SMOG laws don't apply to me, but really? Skunk2 actually makes a better header than Weapon-R? That really surprises me.

not worth the money. a smog header is worth around 3hp on a gsr which is hard to even measure since a drop in air temp could do the same thing. the two best smog headers are from edelbrock and greddy

when you think about all that was needed to get 25hp out of a gsr when they made the type r you start to realize bolt ons are a waste of money

with the b18c leave it stock or boost it. forced induction is where you can make power

I hear that the Hytech reps aren't that bad as far as performance but the quality is kinda lacking. I'm in NY and have smog so using the DC, like B swapped said, it's minimal gains but good quality (previously had a Pacesetter pos).

this style header is the way to go if you're trying to make power NA

but

they aren't emissions legal and do not have the ability for a cat to bolt on

First, just like they said, if youre running a carb legal size header its a waste of time. If you want some decent performance you need to get a header with the large collector and accommodating increased exhaust diameter from there back.

Second, dont think too hard about it. Most of the reps will make similar (peak) power on the same setup. The differences are where they make power so look more into that if youre that serious or particular about it. In the end theyre still all very close. Unless youre trying to win a real race it wont matter. Just be sure its quality material and built.

Just keep the stock headers. No need to waste money on an afermarket one if you're not planning to go for a fully-built N/A setup.
