Default hooked up a system car cranks wont start not battery

Ok so I was hooking up a system in my 01 civic and when I hooked up the power to the battery at the very end I went to turn on my car. The car cranks and sounds like it wants to start but won't turnover. I hooked jumper cables up just to see and that dosent work so I don't think its the battery any ideas?

1. What components did you install or replace?
2. How big an amp?
3. Did you accidentally wire the ignition wire for the amp to an always hot wire?
