Default Amplifier repairers......So.CA "only"

Anyone good at troubleshooting/repairing amps and that won't charge an arm and a leg to do it??? I got 3 "good" amps that I could use but don't work properly.

depends whats wrong on it, usually your output channel or such is blown and if you find someone willing to spend the time on it you can get it fixed for less than $100.

Amp #1 (Aura Sound Force 250) [230W bridged]
Would work in cold weather but the "minute" it would get hot it would cut in and out....this was during the peak summer months.

Amp #2 (MTX Thunder 4250D)
I think I was told wrong specs on both the subs (my "new" RF HE's), and also the specs on the amp. I thought the subs were 4ohms each, wired them in parallel. I also thought the amp was 400W on a 2ohm load, not knowing amps DO NOT run "bridged" or "mono" in 2ohms. Something internal started smoking after blowing a few fuses [two 20A] beforehand.

Amp #3 (Crossfire X302)
Power cuts in and out, and every so often it would make the subs hit in three bump patterns; those patterns were also short in duration and one right after another.

Any thoughts on any of these amps??

amp 1 may have been running unstable ohm and then cutting out...or bad ground, its really hard to tell

amp2 has multiple components to replace, output channel for sure, and whatever else burnt before power/fuse cut

amp3 sounds like a shitty ground to me (input connectors on the amp may touching the amp chassis here and there..like a bad remote)

For amp 1, I was using two JL Audio 12" W0's (8 ohms each) wired parallel and then "bridged" on the amp. Is that why??

For amp 2 I'm having it sent back to MTX and hopefully they'll cover it.

Amp 3 I might just give up, haven't decided yet. Thanks for the suggestions, Rage.
