Default Civic 01 Climate control not working

Hi
Hi! I have a 01 Civic, the climate control mode select where it controls the direction of the air passes is not working. It just blowing through the main vents. I tried rotating the ***** but air blows through the main vents no change. Is this something to do with the climate control unit or some other problem

Best

Start with this:

How to Retrieve HVAC DTC's

1. Turn the fan switch OFF!

2. Press the recirculation control switch and the rear defogger switch.

3. While holding both the switches down, turn the ignition ON (II), then release both switches. The recirculation indicator and the rear window defogger indicator come on. The recirculation indicator goes off 2 seconds later and the A/C indicator comes on (if you have A/C), then the self-diagnostic will begin. About 10 seconds later, the self-diagnostic will finish and the A/C indicator turns off.

- If any trouble is found, the recirculation indicator blinks the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) to indicate a faulty circuit or component.
- If the system is okay, the recirculation indicator stays off.

Canceling the Self-Diagnostic Function
4. Turn the ignition switch OFF to cancel the self-diagnostic function. After completing repair work, run the self-diagnostic function again to make sure that there are no other malfunctions.

12 - A problem in the blower motor circuit.
13 - A problem in the EEPROM in the heater control panel; the control panel must be replaced.
14 - An open in the evaporator temperature sensor circuit.*
15 - A short in the evaporator temperature sensor circuit.*
* With A/C

- In case of multiple problems, the recirculation indicator will indicate only the DTC with the least number of blinks.
- In case of intermittent failure, the heater control panel will store the DTC until the ignition is turned off.
