Here is the issue/concern/problem I guess........

Looking to make a trade for '99 Honda Accord EX.....VIN # 1HGCG1655XA803, CAR WAS BUILT IN THE US. I decoded the VIN.

I'm told the car is from Canada and that's why it has a KPH cluster. Which reads 284KM.
Car is clean throughout....

But here is the issue.....When I ran a AutoCheck the car it NEVER shows being imported from Canada. It was titled in 8/9/1999 in Harbor Springs, MI.
First "Mileage/KM" reported was in 8/31/2001 in Traverse City, MI @ 80,709, which seems high for a 2 year old car.
Last "Mileage/KM" reported was on 8/26/2013 in MI(Auto Auction) @ 284,716

Questions....
-Why did this car built in the US have a KPH cluster?
-Why doesn't it show being sent to Canada?
-Does this seem fishy?

Not sure how to go about this, and I want to have facts straight before I call anyone out.
