Default misfire at 1500 to 2000 rpm

I have a 97 civic LX 1.6 with 261K miles that misfires between 1500 and 2000 rpm typically in 4th or 5th gear. Replaced the coil, dist cap and rotor. Plugs and leads were also replaced a couple of years ago. No check light, and runs great apart from the misfire. I was reading that a possible blocked EGR could cause this, but curious of anything else.

Not that I'm aware of, just brought the car. It had been very well looked after and the maintenance was carried out by a local garage. They replaced the plugs in 2011 (platinum) and cleaned the intake then as well. They also ran a pre-sell check on the car for me and suggested the cap., rotor and coil for the mis-fire.
