Torque Converter Issue? A/T on Civic EK

Torque Converter Issue? A/T on Civic EK
Did the search and checked the FAQ concerning torque converters and just need further verification, tia
Got a 97 PH16A (D16y8) Civic EK, Automatic Trans
A. idles smooth when on park
B. engage in Drive then step on Brake, Idles Rough also whenever engaging in any gear D2, D3
C. Accelerates ok on flat areas
D. has a hard time going uphill, with the gas pedal all the way down. it just crawls
i made sure i'm sorted out mechanically on the Engine Side, i just dont know much about automatic transmissions and need your feedback on this

you should go to mechanic than anyone to take care of your care.
