A couple hand fisted laps by me at Expo 13. Was driving like a complete novice on day one but by the second session on day two I was finally starting to feel the car work beneath me and start pushing. After so many years being away from the track it was good to shake off so much rust. Be kind...

 

I still have a lot of day 1 video go through, but all my friends wanted to see how this happened:



So here's the video:


Lost a brake pad (like, it literally fell out of the caliper) and my foot went to the floor.

 

Wow crazy !! Oem pads ? Well good news it can be fix and what camera setup do you have ? I notice it even tells you how fast you were going

 

Crazy indeed... glad to see the damage was limited to only that. Should buff right out

 

Ah that's a bummer. Saw it happen from the caR in front of you as a passenger.

 

You were really lucky that it happened there at the key hole. If you made it through that turn, you'd be flying down the back straight and full speed into china beach, which would be disastrous.....!

 

Seriously...maybe the best worst luck possible. Good luck getting the car fixed!

Steronz, you were haulin' butt out there!! It seems like a very stout motor, you kept up with that SCCA ITR car on the back straight and he passed me like I was in neutral. Very cool to see a sedan out there rippin' it up. Glad the car is ok!!
