Let me be the first to compliment you on an extremely nice car. I once had plans to my 1999 Honda Civic Hatchback up exactly like you have done. But I've now got my mind set on Gold Volk Gramlights, and a Mugen SS lip instead. But none the less truely an amazing car, and it wouldn't surprise me if I eventually seen it in a magazine. Just out of curiousity how did you wire up the headlights to only come on by themseleves? And what are you hiding under the hood?

 

Its hiding a USDM '00 TYPE-R swap, JDM 4-1 header,

and forgot the JDM folding mirrors and headlights

Just a question. I noticed that there's a pretty sizeable gap in your rear seat. Is there anything that can be done to fix that? Are those integra rear seats or something?

it's some ghetto-*** CF hood i bought on e-bay. doesn't fit 100% right, but for $350 shipped, what can I expect?

 

Yeah, they are JDM ITR rear seats. I could rig up something to elimintate the gap, but it's not very high on my priority list, or list of things to do to my car. The rear lower seat isn't even secured extremely well. Just one screw in the metal loop at the rear of the lower section, and the seatbelts through the holes.

Next on the list is:

- a real aftermarket exhaust system, mandrel bent and has to be quiet (mugen twin loop) or an electronic cutout, haven't decided
- EK9 rear lip
- Tein Flex Coilovers with EDFC
- build the hell out of the motor for all motor 12 second 1/4 miles

 

Yep, i'm on http://www.hybridforums.com and i think maybe honda.hybrids.jp as YumVTEC. Haven't posted much there since I found Honda-Tech.com, but Hybrid Forum is where I grew up and learned a lot of what I know today about Hondas. That site was my inspiration for my 89 DX to ZC swap, and that's where I saw a link to Merrit's ITR then EK, and it became an obssession from there...
