'90 teg - replaced iacv still get some surge

'90 teg - replaced iacv still get some surge
1) Repalced the iacv/eavc and car runs much, much better but still has some idle surge....ideas?
2) replacement iacv was from ebay and did not have a screen on intake port (the old one did but could not get it off)---will this be a problem later?

Did you attempt to clean it and the fitv?
