Anyone heard of this company or running any of their manifolds? How do they compare to RevHard, Fmax, Drag?

Does anyone here have one for a H22A? There's a pic on their website, but it's not the best. Anyone have better pics of how the turbo, wastegate, and downpipe is fitted onto this manifold?

i havent gotten one yet, but i am seriously considering it.. i have heard nothing but good things about max rev.. i originally ordered a revhard.. and got the run around and after 3 months of waiting i cancelled.. i then ordered a drag and after getting jerked around for 2 and a half months only to be told it would take another 4 to 6 weeks before i got it i cancelled again.. anyhow.. so now it looks like i have it narrowed down to either max rev, or fmax.... i also like the fact that their downpipe has a flex pipe in it.. less likely to crack

to bad they only make for h22. also their downpipe only works with Garrett turbos. none for turbonetics.....

 

im using there manifold and its great.... the turbo sits upwards so i had no problem clearing the block and there downpise is a really nice piece

 

that works for me.. i have a garret t3/t4e

 

DS1 do you have any pics of your turbo setup with the MaxRev manifold? Please post them if you do.

Here are some pics of the manifold. They changed the design after this to locate the wastegate somewhere else. But you can get an idea of what it looks like.

Where's the wastegate flange at? I don't like how the mani curves up, but the small equal runners look good.

 

The wastegate placement on mine is on the bottom so you can't see it. Maxrev has since changed the design so you can see it now.

 

Any photos of the new manifold and downpipe for the H22A engines? What's the costs?

 

where did u get those thin fans?

 

I've got one for sale... used for less than 50 miles, if anyone's interested.

 

Here is the new manifold. The one I am selling.

 

The thin fan comes with the C&R radiator. One 14" fan comes with it and outflows both stock fans.

 

man FAL needs to make dual stock replacemnts for us...

 

I might be wrong, but according to the pic the exhaust port on the wastegate dumps directly onto the downpipe. How can one install a dump tube to dump straight down?

It actually wasn't that bad. I thought the same thing when I got the kit. But I felt no difference with the dump tube so close to the downpipe. I was still a lot faster then a f max lude boosting 12psi on t3 super 60, and a drag lude boosting 8psi on T3/T4B both open loop .
