97 accord coupe dd, project, build, whatever.
i checked over the forum rules before starting this, so if its out of place feel free to relocate it and let know. anywho. i picked up a 97 se coupe a few months back, and was just planning on getting rid of it because....well i just was. i wasnt impressed with it or anything. and it was an automatic. well, then i ran across this:
http://www.hondatuningmagazine.com/f...nda_accord_lx/
it may be a k-swap but it made me want to keep my car alot, and i figured i would do a typical h swap because money is an object sadly.
the car has a few bugs here and there, a window reg, dd lock messes up and etc.
but i figured the first route would be to get a manual tranny in it. ill most likely go with hasport for the harness and mounts for the h, and try to pick up a h tranny eventually.
i dont know that it will see boost or not, i havent decided on a power goal yet. but i do want mine to resemble the green one above as much as possible.
well here are a few pictures of it.

it does have exhaust leaks, and ive never been disappointed with ebay parts really,so expect to see a few ebay parts here and there. im most likely going to focus on exterior parts and the little things and piece together the major stuff as i go. ive learned its best to take your time and not rush it. if anyone has any suggestions or tips for me, let me know!

i used few ebay parts on other hondas ive had, and with the research ive been doing for the hswap i think im going to avoid them really. more than likely going to go with hasport to avoid any issues with mounts or wiring. i heard they have sub harnesses for this swap but i really havent bothered looking on their site yet. im just trying to get the gameplan together for the swap right now. well, the transmission swap first at least.

When I swapped mine it felt like an entirely new car. What are your power goals?
