I need a new oil cooler and found a F3 one. They look identical in the pics. Are they? Will it fit my VFR? PLease let me know, Ryan

 

You sure the one you found is off an F3? Reason I ask is that my buddy's F3 has a wierd oil cooler underneath a cover on the front of the motor (next to the oil filter). Any chance of posting up a pic or 2?

 

Heres the pic. It says its off a F3. It looks pretty close to the one I have that messed up. Let me know, Ryan

 

The only thing that appears to be different on that vs. the VFR one, is the 2 mounting tabs (VFR cooler has one in the center). The oil inlet/outlet on that look exactly the same.

I'd get it, if it was cheap

 

maybe a dealer could cross-reference it?

Good, I was about to shoot you an email to see if they'd gotten there yet. Install those babies and go for a ride...you'll see why us VFR owners can get fanatical about our bikes at times
