So I just recently got a automatic 98 civic dx coupe and I want to do stuff to it as it is completely stock and idk exactly what to do as I new to honda , I dont want to spend a ton of money right away but any suggestions please help me out ???

 

automatic? leave it alone and just drive it.

 

sell it and buy a 5 speed, or swap the motor for a bigger one with a 5/6 speed.

 

Drive it, this car will never go fast as its an auto. Its a grocery getter. If anything do scheduled maintanence such as change the oil, misc filters etc. Otherwise, sell it, get a 5 speed vehicle of your choosing. As speed cost money and you already said you dont wish to spend a lot.

 

Thanks for the input guys ill probably lower it and add rims at the max it was a gift and im just going to keep it as its a very reliable car and just need wheels to get around , will post again for more input . Btw is lowering it and rims a good idea ? No exhaust or cold air intake???

 

Exhaust and Intake will do nothing but make noise, no hp gains. I would keep it stock or sell it.
