Hello , I have 2008 element . My tires are wearing out at 20, 000 miles. On third set of tires. Buying premium tires, have Coopers on now. Tire shops have no answers. Has anyone else experienced this problem?

 

You need to get a alinement done ASAP. That's the problem. The vehcile is most like dog tracking (driving sideways) and that is scrubbing the tires. I bet you $100 that's what it is.

I do alinements all day long, so it's nothing new for me to see or hear this. I did 5 alinements this afternoon in 3 hours lol.

But get it checked out, because that's what it will most likely be.

 

also, if you drive mostly on concrete roads, they will also wear tires quicker.

but alignment is usually the cause

 

Did alignment with second set of tires, no change.Still wearing out third set at 20k.
