No, and I don't think anyone will ever make one that does due to SRS legalities.

The tekniqauto one is good because it locks... although those type locks tend to be pretty weak.

I have this one: http://www.ltbmotorsports.com/dilquicrelhu.html
and am happy with it.

Well I'm ordering the race version so I don't have to carry an extra key, it doesn't lock.

How does the Dilysi unit snap off? Is it a ring pull?

Weak, how? Have you personally seen them break? And if you did see them break, what was the situation?

I have this wheel and It doesn`t look weak to me. I`m very happy with it. It`s cheap peace of mind IMO.

Y'all do know that quick-release steering wheels are for off-public-road use in most jurisdictions, right?
So are most of the parts we buy

Well, my ITR's still completely street legal. But, I take your point and will not preach....
I live in Michigan, and nobody seems to give 2 wet ones about anything around here. While they do have a street version available, I opted for the race version, as it is more convenient, and I don't have to keep track of an extra key.

i have the tekniq detachable steering wheel and love it. i think this is one more extra security for my teg. i can use a smaller diameter steerling wheel instead of the bigger oem wheel. the street system has the highest saftey and transportation rating in the world. i would buy tekniq's system comparing all other quick release system. i've seen this on civics, tegs, porche etc...do i hear a groupbuy??

let me know, i know this guy that sells the tekniq systems maybe he can hooks us up for a groupbuy.

What about the SRS light dosent that come on after switching to a steering wheel without an airbag? I just HATE those warning lights!

Nothing a resistor can't fix.

Good news, thanks. Since you're still a noobee, you can't get IMs. I sent you an email to your cyrushere listed account in your profile.

The warning light comes on without an airbag, because the SRS computer check for a certain resistance in the circuit to each airbag. When you remove the bag, the circuit is open, and the SRS computer will throw a warning light, and be innoperable (supposedly. I heard of a ECHC racer w/ and SRS light who's pass bag deployed recently).

At any rate, if you replace the removed airbag with a resistor of the same value as the airbag, the SRS system will never know it's not there. The resistance is very small, like 1 ohm or less.
