I replaced fuel pump and filter,but when I turn key on fuel pressure is 40 psi,2 seconds later check engine lite goes off and pressure drops to zero.I disconnected line from fuel rail and try to start car,steady stream of fuel, then it just pulses fuel while I'm cranking engine.Is the fuel pump supposed to pulse like that?It will start then die.It's a 92 Honda Accord EX.

 

Is there more to this story? Or one day you walk out to the car and it won't start and this is what you have?
