I'm not in PA, but I build transmissions for PA customers all the time.

 

I did consider shipping it to you but the shipping charges would probably be too much.

I just finished doing it myself, following the instructions in this forum.

The only thing I might have screwed up is I might have put the spring washer
Under the mainshaft in upside down.
I was about to put it back in the car but I'm trying to decide if I should.
Anyone here ever make that same mistake ?

What kind of symptoms can I look forward to ?

 

Take it back apart and check, the spring washer needs to be in the correct orientation or the shim clearance and gear mesh will be off.

Shipping from/to PA is pretty cheap.

 

Definitely check that spring washer, Jack, before you put it back in the car.

I still can't believe there's a Type-R swapped Mini in Pennsylvania. LOL
