Default 1990 honda civic hatchback si throwing code 13 (Barometric Sensor) help

Hello,

Have anyone dealt with code 13 (Barometric Sensor) on their civic hatchback si? I am having that problem right now. how do you fix it? The car is a 5 speed, i been doing some search on google and everyone that dealt with this have to change their ecu. can any of the admin/technician on here confirm this?

Thanks.

Your baro sensor is located on passenger side kick panel. Just behind the trim. It's a 3 wire sensor bolted down with 2 10mm bolts. Newer cars have them built into the ecu

WHAT THE HELL?!

Code 13, now known as the 'your motor is severly damaged' code. How does it skip 7 teeth? Actually, how did you not notice that? Whoa. Well, at least you figured it out and are doing it right!

when we bought the car previous owner told us timing belt was recently change, i even double check it it was good but after the 1 1/2 pass, I forgot to check up on it (which is my fault ). everytime i crank the car its would backfire n felt like timing was off so i pop out the timing belt cover and timing was off so i crank it slowly by hand and saw 7th teeth broke from the belt. lol
