90 CRX SI Sunroof problem
Hey everyone! Got a quick question I can't seem to find an answer for. As the Title says, the car is a 90 Crx Si. The part I'm Having trouble with is figuring out if relay or the switch doesn't work. I know for a fact the sun roof motor works cause I jumped it off the battery and it powered right up. I have the connector for the switch unplugged and wanted to know if there was a way to stick some wire between the pins on the connectors that would make the sun roof open and close to figure out if the relay or switch is dead. Any help is much appreciated! Thanks!
Get a volt meter and verify that you have power going to the switch, then work down the line from there.
If there's power at the switch, make sure there's power after the switch when you press it, and so on...

sorry for the late reply, been busy with work. I'll have to give it a try with the volt meter. Also had a problem with it kinda sagging and get stuck on the drivers side track and not closing all the way. When I got the car it wouldn't even open or close with the manual handle cause someone painted it sun roof shut when the car was sprayed
I'm just wondering if i'm gonna have to replace the whole sun roof or if I can get/fix specific peices?

I've fixed many a CRX sunroof by doing this. The contacts get dirty and cannot contact. Use push-pins to pry the casing past the tabs so you don't break anything.
I tried all the wires with a volt meter. I have a green/yellow striped wire, green/ red striped both .47v i believe ,2 tiny wires going to one connector both are white/green striped 3v, and then a black wire that u assume is ground. Anyway i could connec them to make power it up?
