speedometer is working, but not my rpm

Default speedometer is working, but not my rpm

when i start the car, and rev up the gas. the mph (speedometer) goes up, but not my rpm.

I checked all harness and wires. they're hooked up correctly, but what else can causes this?

The tach is driven by a signal from the ICM, remove the distributor cap and dust cover and make sure the blue lead is properly plugged into the ICM. 94
