Smell burnt oil, no leaks, no smoke, nothing.
I have a 1990 std hatch 4-speed D15, I am having a really strong oil odor once I drive it for a ways and warm it up. The oil level has not budged a single bit since the change, no oil spots, no signs of leaking (that I can see), no running funny, idles well, starts quickly, ect ect. I have been reading here that the PCV may be the culprit but am cannot isolate it to this. Anybody had this issue? Please help, thanks guys

I didn't know the PCV valve was THAT cheap! No oil on the exhaust, none dripping anywhere, it's as tight as a drum. I'll just start with the PCV, I was expecting it to be a hundred dollar fix being older emissions crap.
Well, mine on an 89 civic at autozone was $2.99. Might have been a 94 del sol actually. But regardless, same sort of valve. Mega cheap. It's just a spring really.
My guess it if you are physically smelling it then it is coming from oil on the exhaust. Either a leak somewhere or some old oil burning when it heats up.
