Installing CRX Seat Belt Warning Cover
I have a 1991 CRX Si that I bought in 2006. It was missing what Honda calls the "Seat Belt Warning Cover" Which is basically a thin plastic cover that fits behind the seat belt light and covers where the rear view mirror is bolted on. I finally decided to purchase one on eBay. I've heard that they almost always break when being removed. So what is the best way to install the Seat Belt Warning Cover? Is there anything special I need to do? Any tips at all would help me out a lot. I'm attaching a picture of my CRX without the cover and 4 pictures of the cover itself. Thanks!

Carefully. Honestly, if the tabs break off you can stack double sided tape inside until it sticks without the use of the tab. I removed one of these from the salvage yard a week ago and it broke into 3 pieces. I superglued it back together and then coated the inside with a thick layer of JB Weld. It's stronger than it was before. Given the location of the part it is subjected to more temperature extremes. It's 20-year old plastic and most are very brittle. Just be careful and take your time. Hopefully it will click in without any issues.
Ok. This cover came with some epoxy on the tabs to help strengthen them. I was thinking about adding a little more of an epoxy or similar substance to help reinforce the tabs, so does anybody recommendations when it comes to reinforcing the tabs?
