We just bought an e.g last month. when driving this morning and on full throttle with gas pedal all the way to the floor, car will not go any faster. I will have to lift my foot of the gas pedal and press it again to make car go faster. I was told by a buddy of mine that this was a tps problem, bought a new tps and the problem still exist. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

 

Sometimes you have to swap the two outside wires on the TPS because it can read backwards.

Before you do that, got any CEL codes or have you calibrated the TPS with a volt meter?
