Im planning on buying an automatic99 EJ8 soon and wanted to swap it with a B16A2... but i wanted to keep it automatic.. i know what you guys are thinking, that its stupid to have an automatic B series or DOHC VTEC engine, but i was just wondering if it is possible to use an automatic tranny from an automatic Integra and use it with the B16A2 to make it automatic? Or are there any other automatic transmissions that will work with the B16A2 to make it automatic?

 

I've never seen it happen in a 96-00 civic. The 4 spd auto sucks all the fun out of driving anyway.

 

What ecu would you use? Also pretty sure you'd have to weld in some mounts to get it to work
