have a 2000 Honda accord ex, I get a knocking noise in front suspension on both sides when I hit a bump, I replaced both struts and spring assy on front, also upper control arms , still have the noise, cant find where its coming from, sounds like upper control arms but they are both new. so anybody have a clue whats going on?? also I changed the instrument panel out from a donar car, is there a way to get the odometer to read correctly?? thanks

You need to be more specific. Is your car lowered? I had a knocking/popping sound after I got my car lowered, even when driving on relatively smooth roads. Turns out it was the rubber strut mounts that needed replacing. It could also be that your sway bar end links are worn out. Start by checking those out.

 

car is stock, new front springs and struts, both upper control arms replaced, un able to find noise but sounds like its coming from the upper control arms, cant see a reason for this. had the problem before any of this work was done. thanks

How do the sway bar mounts and endlink bushings look?

Try unbolting the endlinks and going over the same bump, does the noise still occur? Check your Lower control arm bushings, and lower shock mount bushings.
