Body kits for my sol
i have a 93 del sol si, and i want to know which kind of car kit to buy (which is the best looking). There is one problem, i live in houston and there are a lot of speed bumps. All i don't want to happen is find out the bumpers are hitting the speed bumps and they get all damages. The other thing is, should i get a spoiler and some clear tail lights? i don't want it to look like a ricer, but i need it to look a little better. I'm 16, at the age where everything depends on ur car. thanx, talk to yall later.
P.S. no, i am not spoiled, i bought the honda all by myself, and i want to make it look nicer, thats it

as for the body kit, im not sure, but be careful, cuz its easy to cross over to rice. with the wing option, you need to be specific. and stay away from the euro tails.
well if yall don't know about body kits, and wings look like a ricer, what can i do to make my car look better. i guess rims is one way to go. anyone know anything else?
1)if you want to add onto the body, get a lip, not a body kit
2)just so long as the wing isnt aluminum, its not really considered "rice" in my book, just so long as it isnt 3 feet tall.
3)Rims is a good whay to go,but and expensive one, too.
and are you just talking exterior design? or interior and under the hood as well?

this is the only car that i think buddy club kit don't look half bad on the car. she had a metal wing too.
if you want clean, just lower it and no body kit especially if your afraid to crack the fiberglass kits.
ok, i like what uve done, i need to know what kits uv used, and the rims, they are sweet... also, do u think the kit would get messed up w/ the speedbumps

no one talked any **** to me when i got my car and started spraying it and beat the so called fastest car in the parking lot at school. A 99 or 00 Lude with big rims and a body kit, air cylinder, cam gears, i/h/e. wow big whoop. but our school if you didn't have a fast or nice car girls were asses to you. And you weren't in the in crowd.
Bodykits
If you must though, make sure you don't go fiberglass with all those speedbumps. A long time ago I was going to go with a kit, then realized that all I was running across was fiberglass. I'm glad I didn't get one now because I can't stand how any of them look now.

My favorite kit on the del sol is the mugen, but I also like the street fighter and buddy club. The blitz kit is okay as well, considering I HATE that bumper on anything other than the 2nd gen eclipses. Just come to an almost complete stop on the speed bumps and you should be fine. Maybe a low tasteful wing like the black widow, but no clear tails unless YOU really want them. This is your car and you will be seing it alot more than the honda-tech member.
if you must go with a kit then the buddy club is a decent one. the red mugen styled del sol is a friends car and it is alright, but i never liked the sides or the back. he doesn't have the back on, but it's just a lip and it looks as bubbly as the sides.
IMO... go w/the Mugen kit... it flows the best w/the lines of the Del Sol. The Buddy Club kit is too blocky/bulky for the Del Sol in my opinion. Regardless... buy what looks good to you and you'll be happy.
Here is everything you can possibly ask for as far as bodykits go for...at least for a del Sol. http://teamsol.chameleon.net/bodykits/bodykits.htm Hope this helps you. If you need additional phone numbers or addresses just let me know.
