Nice solution. " take it to this shop" doesn't help people like me since I'm on the other side of the country. Not that I have a similar issue, but if I did....

How is this not spam if the only thing you are saying is:

And just like "Tim512001" said, how does that help people that aren't local? Don't get me wrong, I'm sure your intentions are in the best interest of your fellow enthusiast but this is a technical forum designed to help people solve their issues with their car. Anyone with half a brain and no understanding of how to work on a car should automatically call a local shop.

If this technical forum doesn't help you i recommended a mechanic that does fix wiring harnesses issues in my area. Anyone with half a brain and no understanding of how to work "on" a car take their vehicle to a mechanic with not that much experience and or even knowledge you'll see your vehicle sitting collecting dust some mechanic's don't touch electrical troubleshooting problems this shop does this mechanic took three weeks breaking his head fixing this situation and getting it resolved now tell me where does all his experience go?(I'm just recommending an excellent experience at my local mechanic shop sorry TIM512001 I don't live in your area to recommend a local mechanic)

So basically every thread on this forum could be answered with take it to this shop? Why have the forum at all, might as well make it so that their info is the only thing you see when you go on this site.

You recommend the place and there are plenty of excellent shops, what people look for is the best work while not having to pay an arm and a leg, they also wont get nothing for free. But still.
Maybe if you had said what they did for you, how much, how long, and customer service?
Then itd be a legit recommendation.

If anyone goes there. Leave some legit feedback

A more informative post just would've been more likely to help someone. Something like, " I've been having xxxxx issue, finally took it to xxxxx shop, they said xxxxx was the problem." That gives the DIY guy an idea of what to look for and may help someone. Still mentions shop but with something informative as well = no flame. We are still unaware of what the actual issue wound up being, only a shop in Cali to take your car with electrical probs.

Yeah, telling people how the shop fixed it would have been the best, most informative, post.
