im not sure if this has been posted already. couldn't find anything.
I want to know if a b series tranny from a ek civic will fit a f20 motor.
want to do a swap but im lacking info.

I planning to do the mod myself.

those are two very different engines

No it will not fit, you would need to do the f2k kit. If you want to use your b-series trans you will need the f20b.

 

ok i looked at that now. inline pro f2k kit is way out of my budget. its like 30k in my local currency excluding import taxes. think ill go for the f20b instead.

will i need an adapter or will it bolt straight on to my b16 tranny

 

you still need an adapter

 

I c. I cn get that made up.correct me if im wrong but if the f20b rotates clockwise and the b16 rotates anti clockwise doesn't that mean im goin to have an issue with my gears?

 

the f20b spins the same way as a b series. the f20c spins the opposite way.
