so i can put the key in and turn it to on II position for the pump to prime and it will not do anything. Maybe turn the key of and on a few times and leave it in on position and all of a sudden a few seconds after its in the on II pos. it will prime and start on up. Usually doesnt start at all in the mornings but by afternoon when it gets hot as ***** it will let me start it. I've already replaced the main relay after I finished my swap and I could get it to start but just recently its intermittent and will start when it wants.. I'm leaning towards the ignition switch...? when the car was stock every so often i'd try and start it but it would do the same thing. Thats where im at

 

could be the contacts on the ignition switch thats what did it to me, but it could also just be another failed main relay. I have had bad relays go out in a short amount of time

 

could i just resolder the contact points on the ign. switch then? or is it inside of it?

 

so this morning i went out and spent a good hour trying to fix the issue and the car would not prime or start, i even took out the main relay and re soldered all the contacts just in case and it still did nothing.. so i gave up and when i went back out around 5pm when it was really hot outside i get in and it starts right up no problem.... any ideas people?

so i just bought a brand new ignition switch and it did not solve my problem... its weird only when its later in the day around 4-5 and its really hot it desides to work. I grounded out the fp wires from the ecu to a body ground andthe fp comes on. Idk if that helps anyone with any ideas..

so i just went through the procedures of checking the main relay which works fine and the main relay connection which also came back positive. The weird thing (dont know if this has anything to do with it but..) when i had the main relay unplugged doing the wiring test and i turned the ignition on i heard a clicking noise that i found was coming from the iacv?? it clicked repeatedly untill i turned the key off. dont know what thats supposed to mean. But the car still doesnt want to start when its not super hot out.
