a few months ago i got another civic hatch and started a build,car was pretty rough when i first brought it home i drove it home mind you but still barley making it,windshield was busted tp sensor was screwed up and car kept bogging off on the interstate,it was spray painted black with purple rims and mirrors lol.

i got it home and started working on it,i had a b16 from my last civic i had kept after completing an older build so i threw it in there and replaced all the gaskets and vacuum/coolent lines along with a new harness and ecu.

next step was moving onto the body which was pretty rough as i said the windshield was busted up pretty bad,so i called safelite and had them come put a new one in,there was some rot around the rear quarters,i sanded all the old spray paint off and saw the car was originally cruise night metallic blue,pretty color to lay some flat black spray paint on...a couple of dents here and there so i did the body filler and fiber glassed in the quarter rot,which i learned was a mistake,im now in the process of ordering new quarters for both sides and have them welded in cause the fiberglass also rotted.

i put a new set of rims and tires on the car,got some gsr seats offline,and did alot of cleaning,other then that the interior of the car wasnt to bad.

got a b&m short throw shifter,replaced brakes,brake lines,wheel cylinders,and springs on the rear,put a new cat back exhaust on it and then went to the front of the car.

there i put new upper control arms,upper ball joints,lower ball joints,and inner and outer tie rods on both sides.

i ordered a aftermarket duckbill cause the there wasnt one on it to start with,new plugs,ngk plug wires,aem fuel pressure regulator,new struts with lowering springs all the way around and the car actully started looking pretty nice.

havent painted it yet due to the rot on the quarters and theres still a couple kinks i got to get lined out before the cars completed for a little bit of speed but mainly dependance.

im having this problem with the gas intake,start to pump gas and after 30cents or so it sprays back out and you then can only pump a couple cents and stop,figured the screen was clogged or something and took it off but there was screen in the neck,maybe its located lower??
im sure ill figure it out.

also theres a problem with the IACV,ive replaced it once after the idle started sticking at around 3k the new one worked well for a week or so then the sticking and surging started again,took it off cleaned it and the problem continues,what could cause this??

next weekend im going to buy a new tranny figured i would get a gsr tranny and then start building the motor a little.not looking for anything to serious just going to gain some hp while still keeping all motor and not over doing it,cars just a daily driver so its just for fun and good looks.
