Running on 3 Cylinders
JDM D15B SOHC Vtec, running rich, lose of power, motor shakes a lot, bad idle. Replaced Fuel Filter, Injectors/Fuel Rail. Started out throwing a CEL when you cruised at 40 and when you turned the car off it would go away when you turned it back on, now it comes on right when I turn the car on. First time I got the CEL code it was 43 (Fuel Systems). Haven't had a chance to check the new one (If it is new...). My buddy was telling me it sounds like it's not firing all 3 cylinders, what could possibly make it do that? I need a list of reasons so I can check it out tomorrow morning.
Spark Plugs, Spark Plug Wires what else?
Pretty sure it's Bosch spark plug wires and some platinum denso plugs, I have heard people say that denso run weird in hondas. Idk if it true or not but I plan on getting some NGK's here soon.

One thing I did notice one time was 3 out of the 4 spark plugs were way more burnt up then one of them. I'm gonna do a compression test tomorrow, was going to do it tonight but didn't have time. I also thought it could be out of time but the thing is it didn't run like this when I first got it from the dude. Possible for it to get knocked out of time? I'll take a look at both of those tomorrow. I really think it might be the cheap denso spark plugs
it could of jumped time. that would make it run like crap.. but ya man give those a go and post ya results tomorrow and good luck! i know how nerve racking it can be! so good luck!
Thanks, this has been driving me insane since I got the car a wile ago. Been running circles forever. Even raced the car on the car running like this.... So hopefully once I get it fixed I get to feel how much power I'm actually making.
If one of your plugs isn't burning, that's a pretty good sign that you aren't getting spark in that cylinder. Get a spark tester tool from your local parts store (they're like, $10-$15). Follow the instructions on the packaging to see if you're getting bright white spark on all four wires. If you aren't, replace your cap, rotor, plugs, and wires. If you are, just replace your plugs and see what happens.

Ok so the first cylinder isn't firing, pulled the spark plug wire out wile running and pulling the first one out didn't make it idle weird like taking the others out did. Anyway to check the cap and rotor before I buy a new one? If not I plan on buying new cap rotor and spark plugs.
You can test the cap and rotor by process of elimination. Resistance test all of your wires with a voltmeter/ohmmeter. If they all show the same resistance, then do the spark plug test that I mentioned. If you aren't getting spark from one wire, but all four wires show the same resistance, it's the cap/rotor that's causing the problem.
And yes, Charlottesville is great, especially around this time of year. All the college girls are moving back into town

Took the cap off, need a new cap and rotor. Has a bunch of build up on it and probably not sparking right. Just gotta wait for the pay check.... Damn it.
She F***ING PURS! Got her up on 4 Cylinders and she sounds nasty with the new headers. Now all I need is spark plugs cause it starts to go back to what it was doing and pops when I get on it. Pretty sure it's just because my spark plugs are fowled. Thanks for the help guys.
