Icon6 98 ex overheating problem

my civic has recently started overheating. I have noticed that the radiator fan no longer turns on. I wired it directly to the battery to see if it still works and it does. I have already changed the radiator fan switch and that didn't solve the problem. I changed the under hood relays around to see if it would fix the problem but it still is overheating. Should my next step be to change the thermostat? What else should I look for?

Check for the ground point on the thermostat housing
And jump the connector on the sensor on the thermo housing. If the fan comes on. Replace that sensor.

what sensor are you referring to? I checked the ground and it seems fine.

Bleed the cooling system first.

I jumped the sensor, fan turned on. So I replaced the fan switch with a new on and the fan still will not turn on when the car warms up. Should I replace the thermostat? can it be that it is stuck shut?

Check the hyperlink http://www.doityourself.com/stry/5-c...fan-problems#b which might help to troubleshoot the radiator fan.

sorry its been a while but the problem is still not resolved. I bled the cooling system, the antifreeze is no longer burning off or whatever, the radiator remains full. The fan will still not turn on when its supposed to. What should I do next?
