1993 Accord Main Relay Clicking/Will Not Start
My '93 Accord Wagon has been giving me issues for some time, and repairs have not been going well. It began with intermittent stalling issues where the car would start back up. It progressed starting issues, where the car would crank but not catch. Now, the car will occasionally start, but it is more likely to kill the battery than start; and recently, the main relay has started to click.
The relay clicks continuously in the "On" position, and accompanying the relay click is a clicking coming from a unit to the left of the battery (looking at the car; I'm not sure what it is). Also, the dash lights (oil, check engine, etc.) remain on pulse slightly with the clicking. The fuel pump does kick on when the key is turned, so I'm while I originally thought I should replace the main relay, now I think I should look for something else.

You really should do some testing....just me but it sounds like your issue is somewhere else.
Test the relay and the inputs to it and you should find your answer : http://techauto.awardspace.com/mainrelay.html

Did you check the relay under the dash? I can't remember what its called but I've had problems where my 92 accord wouldn't start I changed it out fired right up. I've done it twice
since I've owned the car and once to a buddy's car. No idea if it will help but its a thought..

That's my issue; the main relay (under the dash) is clicking. I don't know how to test it since it seems to be different from other 93 accords that are tested; the relay doesn't have pin 4, which, according to what I can find online, is atypical; it seems that I may have an Acura relay?
The its an intermittent problem that gradually grew worse; the main relay clicks and the car will turn but not catch. Notably, unplugging the relay and plugging it back in seems to help, I'm not sure why that is.
EDIT: I said screw it and replaced the main relay anyways because unplugging it and plugging it back in seemed to fix the problem a majority of the time. Have started the car a dozen times today without issue; I'm hoping that that is taken care of.
D4 light came on and remained lit during the drive home; so apparently I have the transmission computer kicking a code now. I assume thats a separate issue though, unless someone thinks they could be related electrical issues.
