Default '96 Accord Cranks But Won't Start

I'm new to Honda's but here's what I have;

F22B2
Cranks-trys to start but that's it
I can hear the fuel pump run for a couple of seconds when the key is turned to the "on" position
No fuel pressure-I turn the key on then get out of the car to check the gauge
There is fuel at the rail
The car sat for a year (not my car)
200,000 miles, I don't know the history
No stored codes

I will check for spark tonight but I'm guessing fuel pump at this point.

Thoughts?

Have you checked for actual flow?

No, I haven't measured flow, I'll check it tomorrow. Thanks for the link.

Replace the Master Switch - I had severe issues with starting especially after it sat in the sun - Cost me like $40 and 25 min in the garage! Located under dash almost directly behind steering wheel. Careful when removing - probably going to get a bloody knuckle - The master switch is a MASSIVE difference including activating fuel pump, etc. Good luck.

I had an assistant crank the car while I read the fuel pressure, and it went up to 40 pounds. When I tested the pressure before it was only key on without cranking. So, it appears the fuel pump is OK. I checked for spark and have spark at all 4 plug boots. I also ohm tested the coil and it checked OK. I pulled the distributor and had an assistant crank the car to verify the rotor turned, and it does. That tells me the timing belt isn't broken. I checked the plug wires on the distributor cap and they match the firing order. I spayed ether in the throttle body and no change to the symtom, which is it trys to start but can't. I wonder if the timing is off somehow, although the distributor is not loose. I'm sure I'm missing something but I don't know what.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

I have a similar issue in my '99 civic, I just posted a thread regarding the same issue, except Im blowing a fuse when I try to start it. If I just put my key to ignition II, my pump kicks on and everything sounds fine, but when I roll it over I blow the 15A fuse for my FI under the hood, have you checked that? I've been told to look for a broken/shorted wire.

Ignition Switch is a common issue on our accords. Try the Key-Trick.

Turn the key to crank, don't let it turn back to "ON" position. Hold the key half cranked, if the car starts and stays running while you hold the key from turning back, then all the contacts on your ignition switch are likely burned out.

This ignition switch to remove comes apart. Pull metal coils out of plastic housing it requires a little force. New one needs to be pulled apart and installed on the left side of the steering column. Really easy to do yourself.

If this is the issue.

It turned out the alternator was frozen. I put in new plugs and it started briefly but didn't stay running, but i heard a drive belt squealing. I loosened the alternator/AC belt and it started right up. I think this car was sitting for much more than a year. Thanks again for the help.
