Default Integra B Series Gear Selector Position

So I pulled my manual transmission on my Integra and when I went to clean the transmission I accidentally knocked the shift rod on the transmission. What I need to know is pushed all the way into the transmission considered 1st/2nd gear selector or is the selector pulled all the way out considered 1st/2nd selector?
