Icon3 GSR Build

Looking to build up a GSR motor here in a few months and have no more than 6k to put in it to get the maximum hp possible, I am fairly new to this so any help is appreciated, looking to possibly boost it down the line, but leaving it na for now.

HP goal?

Boost would be the way to go off the bat.

Waiting for a real question. When you stop pipe dreaming and ask one we'll be more than happy to direct you to the many FAQs or build threads that address this same tired query from the past decade or so.

Looking to achieve 300-400 hp and still be a solid dd, just new to building motors and don't know all of what I need to do, can you at least lead me in the correct direction?

You can not do this without a turbo, go read the FAQs in this section and in the Forced induction section. Read, read, read, then read some more. Put a parts list together, then ask questions based on said list.

400hp N/A? Stop daydreaming and keep reading.
Start in the Forced Induction forum, The Drag Racing forum and the All Motor forum and start reading.

Always a friend.

I highly doubt 500 HP on a GSR ALL Motor is possible. I am willing to bet large amounts of money it has never been done.

Well, once he starts reading more on this he will see more as to why 500HP on an N/A B18 is impossible.

500HP N/A in any B-series has not been achieved nor do i think it is possible.

*you have 6 grand, which is more than enough money to boost the GSR.

You seriously just stuck a Flame fest of a ***** up your butt with this comment. My advise is to stop typing and start reading. K24/20 hybrid N/A motors pushing 2.6L with full everything are running ~400max. There's no way EVER that a B18 is gonna do 500!

You should stop asking us and go ask your "friend" about this motor.
