Default Jdm b16a ticking noises

I have a jdm obdo b16a head is stamped 90, it's ticking like crazy! Do you know what can it be?

Valve lash adjustment? What oil you using? Likely the adjustment though.

In using 5w30 non synthetic, I heard need no use for that in this old motors. Didn't do a vavle adjustment yet, people are saying it may be the motion lost assemblies because the lost assemblies springs are commonly weak for his year and type of motor, where should I start first?

I'm assuming you will be doing the work?
LMAs are $ and doing a valve lash check is FREE.

One quick question, can you still adjust your lash valves when you remove your head to rebuild it?

You can adjust lash on or off the block - doesn't matter.
It is easier for me on the block simply because I don't have anything to hold the head up off the working surface. You need that gap under the head so you don't mash the valves on the table or whatever.

Do the valve adjustment first, it's cheaper and more likely your issue, and hope it's your issue, because if it is the LMA like the others said it's $$$
