Default Axle question - 95 Accord

How much space would you expect after pushing an axle into the tranny?

I can't really tell if it's in all the way. I'm pushing form the outer portion (by wheel). When I place my finger bt the axle and tranny, I feel about 1/4 inch space.

I popped it out w/ a pry bar and placed it back in. It came out pretty easily. I pushed w/ all my might to get it back in.

Which should I get? I don't know if I need all the extras. I need to be hand held through this.

1) Problem Solver; Complete Arm w/ Ball Joint $70.79
Moog control arms provide OE-equivalent quality, fit and form. When applicable, the control arms include all the hardware (pinch bolts, frame-mounting hardware, strut hardware, bushings and more) needed to provide complete service for replacements.

2) R-Series; Complete Arm w/ Ball Joint $33.79
R-Series Control Arms combine Moog approved design and construction with pricing that will appeal to budget-minded vehicle owners.

The inner cup will not be easy to slide/pull out of the transmission if the circlip has seated inside. If it does slide back out turn the axle 180° and try pushing it in again, if not rotate 90°, and again 180° if the axle does not fully seat. If the open end of the circlip is clocked in the 6 O'clock position one of the legs can hang up and not allow the inner stub to fully seat.

If the components are exact its a no brainier, however I would suspect the R series being half the price may be a lower tier component that may not actually come with Moog BJs and the like.

Although, I was under the impression the real deal/easter egg could be by purchasing Dorman FUCAs from Rock Auto for ~$25. Someone had noted that although it is a 'Dorman' part that the actual component is from Honda.
